“A unique product that's just starting to make its presence known in the specialty retail industry is Bico Australia, presented in the US by Bico Pacific. The company carries tribal-inspired jewelry that has a growing market overseas in Australia and other countries, but is just starting to catch fire here in the US. "We have the highest quality products and the most original designs—plus we introduce new products every four to six months to keep the line fresh," said President Joseph Nahum. "We have almost 500 different designs of charms now, some in six to eight different colors, which makes a total of 1,500 charms, plus, we have chains, bracelets, wrist bands, spin rings, phone accessories and more. In total we have over 2,500 different SKUs." New for SPREE East, Nahum was talking-up the company's new display, "a very innovative display that allows customers to touch the product but still keep it secure—and we all know that when a customer touches a product, they're much more likely to buy. The new display system has been very successful, increasing our customers' sales by 30 percent. The response of retailers and leasing managers when they see it, and when they see our extensive line of unique jewelry—is amazement. They love it." And leasing managers love it, too, "because it allows them to offer their shoppers something unique and different, original jewelry that is tribal-inspired and each piece has a cultural or spiritual meaning behind it that drives sales. Bico has some of the best jewelry available, both in design and craftmanship. The company has been around several years now and is only beginning to penetrate the adult market. Each symbol has a different meaning. The beautiful metal Stag symbolizes male power and sexuality,which I learned after picking it out of the bunch that was sent in for review. A way to make buying BICO jewelry fun for your customers is to either tell them directly or place a sign suggesting they first pick out the piece they like the most and then read what it symbolizes to discove something their subconscious already knew.
